Anonymous asked: Lou, have you had time to write poetry lately? I know you've been supah busy :[
Nooo :( I’ve had some time, but I’m not really inspired these days. Maybe watch out for something this weekend? Work is such a drainer, sigh.

Anonymous asked: Could you post the poetry you posted in PH here? I would love to have a place where I can read it now that PH is done :[ I know you're busy with school and internships and stuff, but when you have time?
Yes, I’ll post most of them eventually! I’m a little embarrassed with a couple, so probably not all will go up. Lord knows I wrote bad poetry ~back in the days~ :P I’m still quite swamped with my internship but I’ll do my best.

when it falls if no one is around to hear it?
no one thinks about the tree
and how it can never again stand tall.

Hi, guys!
I know I’ve sorely neglected this blog for the past couple months. I have no excuses besides, well, that I wasn’t sure where I ought to go with it. But I’ve recently started writing little poems that I feel I want to post here, hence the resurgence of sunspotted. December’s also begun too (where did time go?) and I felt like I ought to commemorate my favourite month of the year with something special.
My new poems won’t be long ones like Infinity or Skin Against Skin. I just began a grueling internship at a local newspaper and won’t be able to devote much time to poems like those, sadly.
Here’s a preview of what one will look like:

looking to complete our soul
six billion people in the world:
you finished me.
Short and sweet!
Do help me out in (once again) promoting my sad excuse of a poetry Tumblr by reblogging this or just, I don’t know, telling your friends! If you want to, of course. You might hate me. I’d be clueless. Just know that I’ll be posting much more regularly with the assistance of the ever-awesome queue function. :)
Thanks for not hurling virtual rotten cabbages at me! Love y’all!
